Hello

Just a few lines to let you know who I am. I’m a Irish/Australian writer who loves to tell a story, especially stories that surprise, challenge, entertain and give pause for thought, that allow for second chances. I’ve been writing in different forms for many years.  Right now, I’m enjoying writing fiction - short stories and novels. My starting points are always something that intrigues me. My dogs, two rescue Westies called Syd and Tilly, keep me company as I write, wagging their tails whenever I get up to make yet another cup of tea, for they know there'll be a biscuit for them too.

The aim of this site is to gather all my writings together (see book page) and to provide you with free stories that might just brighten a moment of your day (see A story for you & Tall Tale Tuesday blog).
